“What do we go to work for?” I asked the students as they passed by my payroll career stand at a local senior school. “To earn money!” they all gleefully replied. “Exactly” I laughed and yet only 66% of 14 & 15 year olds who I spoke to had heard of payroll as a business function. Who’s job is it to educate young people about financial health?
