Cox & Co awarded ‘Payroll Manager of the Year’ & ‘Best Payroll Initiative of the Year’ in a double hit swoop.
The independent payroll and pension outsourcing bureau was honoured with two awards in a glittering black tie ceremony at IrisWorld Customer Awards held on the 11th February 2020.
Tracy Jerram, winner of “Payroll Manager of the Year” was recognised across the industry as being a strong manager that integrates well with her team and drives the business forward. Cox & Co. was additionally awarded ‘Best Payroll Initiative of the Year’ for implementing technology that clearly had a hugely positive impact on both clients and their employees.
Hosted by Iris Software Group to celebrate industry excellence in the accountancy, HR, Payroll and Education sectors, the awards recognise leading individuals, teams and organisations who deliver outstanding service and results for their customers.
Cox & Co. a dedicated payroll bureau in Bristol sat side by side with some of the UK’s top 30 accountancy practices along with schools, academies and national private organisations who were also finalists in the prestigious award ceremony.

IrisWorld2020 attracted over 1000 delegates from across the accountancy, HR, Payroll and Education sectors. All of which were given fantastic opportunities to attend workshops, discussion groups, listen to industry professionals and witness the changing world of software development.
In view of the magnitude of this industry event, there is something really humbling when asked to speak at a conference especially when the subject is “Customer excellence and how you’ve used technology to improve client experience and continually drive the business forward’.
Tracy Jerram, Head of Business Development was given the opportunity to join Karen Williams, Commercial Director at Iris Software and Ginny (Virginia) Freeman, Head of Payroll Services at Throgmorton to discuss how both businesses were using technology to develop payroll services and encourage customer engagement.
